Welcome to Heisson Farms

What started as a glimpse of a "For Sale" sign from the back of a motorcycle, has become Heisson Farms. We're working to preserve the 100-year-old National Historic Home, as well as renovate the site's turn of the century dairy barn, milking parlor, chicken coop, and "Roosevelt" outhouse. After looking for 3 years over an empty field, we thought -- why not see if the land can help provide funds for historic preservation? Join in the fun!

The History of Heisson

Heisson was settled by visionary Alexander Heisson and his bride Mary in the 1850s. In time this railroad stop grew to be a thriving logging town. But when wood from the area's 1902 burn began to dry up, many settlers moved on to surrounding larger communities. Yet, thanks in large part to the remaining "Heisson Store," along with it's Post Office, Heisson remains a stop on the map.
